Double click on the layer to bring up the Layer Style dialog. Go to Blending Options and hold Alt then drag the black marker for "This Layer" to split it into two markers. Then drag each of these markers until you get a blending that fits your artistic desire.
Select a different vivid color for the foreground now then do another clouds render onto a new layer.
As before apply now a few Difference Clouds filters.
