In this tutorial we will learn how to use the Date and Time functions in ActionScript and how to display a digital watch.
Let's start with the line that will display the current date. With the Text Tool create a text box, set the apropriate color and font and set the Var to "date". This will link to this text box the "date" variable which we will create later.
In a similar way, create a text box for hours and set the Var to "hour".
