Go into Border editing mode and select any two facing borders (border define holes in our geometry).

Click the Bridge button. This will create a.. well.. a bridge between the two holes.

Repeat the last step to create the remaining seven bridges. Your four-legged wooden stool is done! I'll cover texturing in a future tutorial.
