Chamfer the selected edges 15 units.

Hit Ctrl+A to select all edges and then Chamfer them 0.1 units. Throw a MeshSmooth modifier with 3 Iterations on our object. This step isn't really necessary since a wooden stool is hardly smooth.

Right-click the object and choose Object Properties. Check the Freeze and See Through boxes and hit OK.
