Picket Fence (3D Studio Max modeling tutorial) - step 1
Today we will create an elliptical picket fence in 3D Studio Max. Later you could place it around a house or in a farm scene.

Start 3dsmax and choose "Ellipse" as Object Type under the Create panel > Shapes > Splines category.

In the Top viewport, drag from upper-left corner to the lower-right corner to create an ellipse. This will be our overall shape for the fence.
