Create a square box, with 3 height segments (I know the image shows only 2, but I figured 3 will give much better results as you will see next).
Place it on top of the second line and add a MeshSmooth modifier with 3 iterations. We now have the seating part of the chair.
Finally add another line that connects the "legs" of the first line, parallel with the top segment of the second line. the chair is now finished!
