And of course add the Lathe modifier. Use the same settings as before. If your mesh is inside out, also check the Flip Normals box.
Switch to the Top View and create a new line shape which will define the contour of one of the three fan blades.
Add an Extrude modifier to the Line then move the object in place, near the central piece of the fan. Convert the object to an Editable Polygon.
